Uniflex PES-TMEL UNI universal filler, 500 g

Uniflex filler uni is a two-component universal polyester filler intended for filling larger and smaller unevennesses. It is mainly used on metal, steel, stone, concrete and wood. The Uni filler is paintable, for indoor and outdoor use. Metal substrates prone to corrosion, especially outdoors, need to be treated with an anti-corrosive primer. The filler is gray with a red hardener. The filler must not be used for filling areas that come into direct contact with food and drinking water.

Processing the universal filler:

Substrate for the filler:
The substrate must be clean, dry, load-bearing, free from rust, oils, and grease. Original coatings must be sanded down to the substrate. Metal substrates should be treated with primer with anti-corrosive properties – especially important outdoors.

Hardening of the filler:
The filler is hardened with a hardener in a weight ratio of 100 parts filler : 2 parts hardener. Excessive addition of hardener is undesirable. It may lead to blooming and color change in the subsequent coating.

Time for processing the filler:
3 – 4 minutes at + 20 °C. The reaction temperature must not fall below +5 °C.

Application of the filler:
by plastering.

Drying time and sandability of the filler:
at + 20°C about 15 minutes against dust, sandable after 25 minutes.
