Lach-Ner Lakostan paint remover, 750 g

Lach-Ner Lakostan is a non-flammable alkaline product intended for removing oil-based, alcohol-based cellulose, and some types of synthetic coatings mainly from wood (furniture, doors, fences, boats, etc.), and possibly from metal substrates, body parts, metal components, etc. and walls.

It effectively removes even very old and very thick layers of paint. The coatings can be easily washed off with water after applying Lakostan - scratching is no longer necessary. It does not damage glass, but it does etch aluminum and some colored metals.

Warning: It cannot remove chlorinated rubber, epoxy, dispersion acrylic, and polyurethane coatings. It is not suitable for aluminum and some colored metals, but can be used on wood and other materials.

Working procedure for the Lakostan paint remover:

1. Lakostan remover should be thoroughly mixed in the original container and applied with a long-haired brush (do not use a natural bristle brush).
2. Apply the remover evenly on vertical surfaces so that it does not run off, but also creates a layer for effective removal of the paint buildup.
3. Depending on the thickness and quality of the paint buildup, let it act for a minimum of 15 minutes to 12 hours (e.g., for automotive paints).
4. Check the release of the old coating with a knife to see if the layer can be easily scraped off down to the substrate.
5. If it comes off easily, rinse the surface under running water and wipe the clean area with a dry cloth.
6. If the substrate is wooden, neutralize the surface with diluted vinegar (1:1). The diluted vinegar should act for about 5-10 minutes; otherwise, the wood will take on a somewhat darker shade compared to its original appearance.
7. Then wash the wood thoroughly under running water.

• P303+P361+P353: IF ON SKIN (or hair): Remove all contaminated clothing immediately. Rinse skin with water/shower.
• P305+P351+P338: IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.
• P405: Store locked up.
• P501: Dispose of contents/container in accordance with local regulations.
