PATTEX Repair Special Plastic adhesive for plastics 30 g

Pattex Repair Special Plastic is a polyurethane-based adhesive ideal for bonding hard and soft plastics and their combinations with various other materials, e.g.: rubber, leather, ceramics, wood, metal, textiles, etc. Designed for bonding hardened and plasticized PVC, ABS, acrylic glass, polycarbonate, etc. Not recommended for bonding PP, PE, PTFE (Teflon), and polystyrene.

Surface preparation for plastic adhesive:

The surfaces to be bonded must be dry, clean, and free from grease. If possible, roughen the surfaces before bonding.

Application of plastic adhesive:

Apply the adhesive evenly and in sufficient quantities to both surfaces to be bonded, allow to ventilate for 5-10 minutes. After ventilation, a uniform film of adhesive should be visible on the surface. The adhesive must be dry to the touch, should not stick to fingers, or form threads. After ventilation (no later than 1 hour), press both surfaces together. The strength of the bond does not depend on the duration of pressing (a few seconds is sufficient), but rather on the pressure applied.

Warning:

Handle the material at temperatures from +18 °C to +25 °C. Clean used tools immediately after use with solvent or cleaning gasoline. Dispose of any unused contents after curing at a location designated by the municipality for waste disposal. Small amounts can be added to household waste. Hand empty containers over for recycling. Dispose of large quantities separately. Cooled or frozen adhesive can be fully reused if allowed to come back to room temperature (around +20 °C). This does not cause a decrease in quality. First aid:

In case of contact with skin, wash with water and soap, treat with a restorative cream. In case of contact with eyes, rinse under running water for about 15 minutes and seek medical advice. If ingested, rinse the mouth, drink 1-2 glasses of water and seek medical advice. In case of inhalation, remove the affected person from the contaminated environment and consult a doctor.
