Areas of application:
Tiles, Plasters, Zinc, Metal, Concrete, Aluminum, Polystyrene, Ceramics, Polyurethane foam, Glass, Stone, Leather, Plastics, PVC, Textiles, Cork, Iron, Wood, Steel.
Tips and tricks:
Glueing on non-absorbent surfaces:
When gluing on non-absorbent surfaces (e.g., metal, glass), wipe both glued surfaces with a damp cloth and apply only a thin layer of glue.
Glueing on absorbent surfaces:
Highly absorbent surfaces (e.g., wood) should be glued with a larger amount of glue. In some cases, it is advisable to apply glue to both glued surfaces.
Glueing painted surfaces:
Pattex 100% can also be applied to painted surfaces. In this case, however, we recommend testing compatibility with the given surface.
Instructions for use:
1. The surface must be clean, dry, free from dust and grease.
2. On non-absorbent surfaces, apply a thin layer of glue to one glued surface; on absorbent surfaces, apply to both glued surfaces. Adjust the amount of glue according to the absorbency of the substrate. The more absorbent, the more glue.
3. Immediately after applying the glue, fix the glued surfaces for at least 30 minutes under even pressure on the entire glued area.
4. The glue reaches its final strength after about 24 hours.
