PATTEX Neutral Silicone, White, 280 ml

One-component high-quality sealant PATTEX Neutral Silicone is used in various installation and construction activities both indoors and outdoors. Due to its neutral chemical base, it does not release substances that cause corrosion, allowing its use on metals, glass, plastics, wood, or alkaline substrates without a primer. It is excellent for sealing expansion joints, window and door frames, during glazing work, at facade joints, and in technical constructions.

It features great adhesion to even challenging substrates and is compatible with both water-based and solvent-based types of coatings. Once cured, it remains permanently flexible and highly resistant to moisture, UV rays, ozone, aging, and harsh weather conditions.

The versatile properties allow its application not only in the construction sector but also in electrical engineering, glassmaking, and the automotive or maritime industries. It is also suitable for sealing demanding materials, for example, at joints exposed to permanent stress or insulating double glazing.

Before use:
Joints must be clean, dry, and free of dust and grease. Cut the top of the cartridge above the thread and screw the nozzle onto the cartridge. The tip of the nozzle must be trimmed according to the width of the gap/joint.
Insert the cartridge into the applicator gun. Apply the silicone evenly into the joints.

Application:
Apply silicone into the joint. Then smooth it out using a spatula or your finger dipped in soapy water.
We do not recommend painting over it - due to the elasticity of the sealant, the paint will not adhere.

Cleaning:
Remove excess adhesive immediately with a damp cloth. Cured material can only be removed mechanically.
