Paste-like putty intended for fine leveling of interior wall and ceiling surfaces, such as all types of plaster, unplastered concrete, fiber cement, wood-cement and plasterboard sheets, also for repairing defects or filling recesses and cracks. JUBOLIN is a dispersion leveling compound for fine leveling of interior wall and ceiling surfaces in residential,
commercial, industrial, and other buildings. It can also fill smaller recesses, cracks, joints, grooves, and repair defects or failures. The leveled surfaces have a natural white color and can be painted with all common types of dispersion paint, glued with wallpaper, and various decorative finishes can be applied.

JUBOLIN has good adhesion to lime, lime-cement and cement plasters, and plasterboard sheets; it can also be used to level unplastered concrete, aerated concrete, and surfaces made of fiber cement boards, particle boards, etc. It can be applied to already painted surfaces only if the original coatings adhere well to the substrate and cannot be washed off with water.

Substrate preparation:
The substrate must be solid, dry, and clean, without loose particles, dust, water-soluble salts, grease, and other impurities. Dust and other loose dirt should be removed with a vacuum cleaner or broom; residues of formwork oils from concrete surfaces should be washed off with hot water or steam. All water-soluble layers, oil paints, varnishes, and enamels must be removed from already painted surfaces. Surfaces infected with mold must be disinfected with an Algicide before applying the leveling compound. New base plasters should be allowed to dry prior to applying the leveling compound for at least 7 to 10 days for each cm of thickness; the leveling compound can be applied to new concrete no earlier than one month after pouring (the stated drying times apply under normal conditions: T = +20 ºC, relative humidity = 65 %).

Before applying the leveling compound, a primer coat must be applied. It is recommended to use AKRIL EMULZE, diluted with water (AKRIL EMULZE : water = 1 : 1), which is applied with a brush, paint roller with long hair, or by spraying. We can start applying the leveling compound, under so-called normal conditions (T = +20 ºC, relative humidity = 65 %), 6 hours after applying the primer coat.

Application of the leveling compound:
The material is usually applied in two layers, with a maximum thickness of each layer being 1 – 2 mm, and a total maximum of 3 mm. It is applied manually with a stainless steel trowel, which spreads and levels it as best as possible over the working surface. If necessary, excess material is removed in front of the trowel. The first layer should be sanded before applying the second, and the second or top layer should be sanded after the compound has hardened using fine sandpaper. Sanding can be done manually or mechanically. For more demanding surface finishes, a sandpaper grit of 150 is recommended; in other cases, 80 to 120. The application of the leveling compound is possible only under suitable microclimatic conditions: the air and wall substrate temperature must be between +5 to +35 °C, and the relative humidity must not exceed 80 %.
