PATTEX Bitumen Roof Sealant, Black, 280 ml

PATTEX Bitumen Roof Sealant is a plastic-elastic sealing compound based on polymers and bitumen with solvents, designed for a wide range of repairs and bonding in the areas of roofs, foundations, drainage, and other structural elements. Thanks to its composition, it creates a durable, waterproof, and permanently flexible joint that withstands weather conditions, UV radiation, permanent moisture, and mechanical load.

This sealant is suitable not only for repairing roof coverings, chimney seals, or gutters, but also for foundation insulation, drainage systems, or constructing greenhouses and other structures where high mechanical resistance and long-term sealing are required. Once cured, it remains flexible and adaptable to the movements of the substrate without cracking or peeling.

Its excellent insulating properties and strong adhesion to most building materials make it an ideal choice for both professional and home use. The sealant can be applied in damp environments and on slightly absorbent surfaces.

Before use:
Joints must be clean, dry, and free from dust and grease.
Cut the top of the cartridge above the thread and screw the nozzle onto the cartridge. The tip of the nozzle must be cut according to the width of the joint.
Insert the cartridge into the applicator gun. Apply the sealant evenly into the joints.

Application:
Apply the sealant evenly. Smooth the surface of the sealant with a spatula or a finger dipped in soapy water.

Cleaning:
Immediately remove residues of glue with a damp cloth. Cured material can only be removed mechanically.
