Storage
The Hydrogen peroxide solution is stabilized, but still slightly decomposes and thus its concentration in the solution decreases by about 1% depending on the storage conditions. Therefore, Hydrogen peroxide must be stored in its original, tightly sealed container, in a cool place at a temperature of up to 20 °C, away from flammable substances, reducing and alkaline agents and foodstuffs. Traces of heavy metals, alkalis, mechanical impurities and light cause decomposition under the development of oxygen. Keep out of the sun! The packaging is equipped with a safety stopper with gas venting, and therefore the packaging must always stand upright to prevent leakage of the contents or inflation, possibly even bursting the packaging. Dispose of unneeded peroxide residue in hazardous waste collection or dilute at least 1:100 with Water and dispose of the diluted solution down the drain. After rinsing the packaging with Water, take it to the plastic collection, do not burn it in the local heating system.
Occupational safety: Hydrogen peroxide is harmful to health, it has irritating effects which are manifested by skin whitening. Damage depends on exposure time and concentration. Peroxide vapour or aerosol can cause the formation of boils on the cornea and partial clouding. Wear suitable Rubber gloves and goggles when working with peroxide. Observe the rules of personal hygiene, do not eat, drink or smoke while working.
First aid: in case of contact with eyes, immediately flush with plenty of Water min. 15 minutes. If swallowed, rinse mouth with Water, drink about 0.5 l of Water, do not induce vomiting. In case of contact with clothing and skin, remove affected clothing, rinse skin with plenty of Water and soap for min. 15 minutes. Always seek medical attention in all cases of serious damage to health, in case of penetration into the eye and ingestion.

Take precautions against mixing with combustible materials. If eyes are affected, rinse gently with Water for several minutes. If you do not feel well, seek medical attention/treatment. Wear the required personal protective equipment.
