Lawn establishment:
Before sowing the lawn, it is necessary to first mechanically or cheMically remove weeds, especially creeping bentgrass, hedgehog and other weedy grasses, and adjust the surface of the land. To improve the soil properties, add sand or peat substrate to the vegetation layer as needed and lightly firm the surface. In case of poorer quality soil, it is advisable to use a special lawn substrate with Silica sand content.
Sowing:
Luční směs můžeme vysévat po celé vegetační období od jara do podzimu, nejvhodnější doba pro vysetí je ale březen-duben nebo konec srpna -konec září, v teplejších a sušších měsících musíme plochu udržet pod závlahou, aby nedošlo k přeschnutí porostu. Vyséváme na upravený povrch, hrabičkami jemně zapravíme do půdy (ne však více jak 0,5 – 1 cm) a celý pozemek uválcujeme (za sucha). Dalším nezbytným krokem je závlaha, kdy celá plocha by po dobu klíčení a vzcházení měla být neustále vlhká. V žádném případě nesmí dojít k přeschnutí mladých klíčků, ale ani přemokření pozemku, došlo by ke znehodnocení osiva. Během jednoho týdne až čtrnácti dnů dojde k vyklíčení a vzejití osiva a po celou dobu trávník opatrně zavlažujeme.
