Establishing a lawn:
Before sowing a lawn, the land must first be mechanically or cheMically weeded, especially of creeping pearl Millet, hedgehog and other weedy grasses, and the surface of the land must be prepared. To improve the soil properties, add sand or peat substrate to the vegetation layer as required and lightly firm the surface. If the soil is of poorer quality, a special lawn substrate containing Silica sand is recommended.

Sowing:
The meadow mix can be sown throughout the growing season from spring to autumn, but the best time for sowing is March-April or late August-late September; in the warmer and drier months, the area must be kept under irrigation to prevent the crop from drying out. Sow on a prepared surface, rake gently into the soil (but not more than 0.5 - 1 cm) and roll the whole plot (dry). The next essential step is irrigation, where the whole area should be constantly moist during germination and emergence. In any case, the young sprouts must not dry out and the land must not be Waterlogged, as this would cause the seed to deteriorate. Within a week to a fortnight, the seed will germinate and emerge and the lawn will be Watered carefully throughout the period.

Lawn maintenance:
The first mowing of a newly established lawn should be done after the grass has thoroughly rooted, preferably with a spindle mower. We do not carry out cheMical weed control treatments on meadow mixture intended for direct feeding or hay production! Fertilise the fully established crop preferably with lawn fertiliser or fertilisers with a higher nitrogen-N content regularly according to the manufacturer's instructions or as required.

Ingredients

Perennial ryegrass, multi-flowered ryegrass, red fescue, meadowsweet
