Den Braven RL gun mounting foam, 500+250 ml

In PROFI version for precise and economical application using a dispensing gun. For the installation of door frames and window frames, filling cavities, installation spaces between panels, masonry partitions, ceiling and floor, passages of electrical wiring. Excellent thermal insulation for attic spaces or bathtubs. Also suitable for sound insulation. In case of a requirement for minimal foam expansion, use Low-expansion mounting foam.

Single-component, special insulating and construction foam based on moisture-curing polyurethane, designed for use in the construction industry. The propellant does not contain freons - free of F.C.K.W.

Properties of Den Braven mounting foam:

• Easy to apply
• For bonding polystyrene
• Without nutritional value for insects or rodents, does not support the growth of mold and fungi
• High resistance to mold
• High adhesion and stickiness to various construction substrates – concrete, masonry, stone, wood, polystyrene, PVC, etc.
• Quick curing, dimensionally stable
• Increased adhesion to hardened PVC – window and door frames, window sills
• High filling capacity, uniform structure
• Good sound and thermal insulation

Usage of Den Braven mounting foam:

• Installing wooden and PVC window frames and door frames
• Filling installation spaces between panels, insulating bathtubs
• Bonding window sills, filling passages for electrical wiring and pipes through walls and floors
• Suitable for filling joints between thermal insulating boards made of EPS, XPS, and mineral fibers (so-called wool)

Limitations of Den Braven mounting foam:
Do not recommend using for applications underwater and in closed spaces, zero adhesion on PE, PP, silicone, teflon, and greasy substrates. It is not advisable to heat the foam or joints at low temperatures, do not apply to substrates covered with frost.

Substrate for Den Braven mounting foam:
Must be clean, dry, solid, free of dust, loose particles, grease, oil, and frost. Treatment (preparation) of the substrate: We recommend moistening the substrates with a spray bottle of water. Instructions Before application, shake the can thoroughly at least 30 times. When applying, hold the can upside down, fill the joints from the bottom up, approximately from 1⁄2 to 1⁄3. For joints over 40 mm, fill them step by step in layers, always after the previous layer has cured. Surface treatment (painting, plastering) should be done at least 24 hours after application.

Warning for Den Braven mounting foam:

Uncured foam can be cleaned with PU foam cleaner, while cured foam can only be removed mechanically. Use protective equipment during work. Protect the floor from staining with paper or film.

Cured PUR foam is not resistant to UV radiation. This resistance depends on the duration of exposure to direct sunlight (approximately from 14 days to 3 months). After this period, along with further climatic influences (rain, frost, etc.), the foam structure gets damaged from UV radiation.

Cleaning Den Braven mounting foam:
Material: Uncured foam - Zwaluw PU foam cleaner. Hands: hand cream, soap, and water.
