Laguna PH minus for reducing pH value, 1.5 kg

Pool chemistry Laguna PH minus is designed to reduce the pH value of pool water. The ideal pH value for swimming water should be in the range of 6.8 to 7.6. In this range, disinfectants work with maximum efficiency and without negative side effects. At pH values below 6.8, there may be increased damage to pool materials, fading of colors, and irritation to the eyes and skin. pH values above 7.6 can cause milky cloudiness in the water, a chlorine smell, as well as irritation to the eyes and skin and can lead to filter clogging.

Use of PH minus pool chemistry:

For the greatest effectiveness of chlorine without side effects, it is necessary to adjust the pH value of pool water to 6.8 to 7.6. The required amount of the product (dissolved in water in a plastic container) should be slowly added at the inflow of water into the pool while the filtration system is turned on. Check the pH value (testers) after thorough mixing. Repeat this process until the pH is within the desired range. During the time of perfect mixing of the product by the filtration system, the presence of persons in the pool must be excluded! Subsequently, check the pH value once a week and adjust any deviations from the ideal value by adding Laguna pH plus or Laguna pH minus. Control is especially necessary before adding disinfectant products.

Instructions for using PH minus pool chemistry:

The product is dissolved in water and added to the pool while the filtration system is turned on to lower the pH value. The pH must be checked at least once a week using a testing kit.

Performance of PH minus pool chemistry:

15 g of the product (1 level tablespoon) per 1 m³ of water (1,000 liters) will reduce the pH value by approximately 0.2 (for hard water, a higher dose is usually needed).
