Description Laguna Chlor Shock Pool Disinfection, 1 kg
Laguna Chlor Shock serves as a disinfectant for year-round maintenance of all types of pools, primarily for one-time, or "shock" treatment of pool water after filling or during heavy pollution. It eliminates algae and bacteria.
Usage of Laguna Chlor Shock Pool Disinfection:
After filling the water, first adjust the pH value of the water to 6.8 – 7.6. Then, pour the initial dose of the product (dissolved in water in a plastic container) into the skimmer or directly into the pool with the filtration system turned on. Until complete mixing of the product by the filtration system, it is necessary to exclude the presence of people in the pool! We recommend performing chlorination in the evening. It is essential to maintain the active chlorine content between 0.3 – 0.8 mg/l. At elevated temperatures, the active chlorine content can be temporarily increased up to 1 mg/l. Check the pH value and chlorine content approximately 1–2 times a week.
Dosing of Laguna Chlor Shock:
- 10 g/m³ when filling the pool
- 5 g /m³ every 4 - 6 days during normal operation
- 8 - 12 g/m³ during increased operation and higher temperatures
