Lukofob 39 hydrophobic coating, 1 l

Concentrate of methylsilanolate based on silicone designed for hydrophobic protection of most light and highly absorbent mineral substrates (plasters, concrete, bricks, sandstone, or limestone). Before application by spraying or coating, it should be diluted with water in the ratio of 1:10 – 1:40 or at least 1:75 for soaking baths. It can also be used for injecting masonry as a barrier against rising ground moisture.

Characteristics of Lukofob 39 hydrophobic coating:

• reduction of absorbency of porous silicate materials,
• less susceptibility of the treated surface to soiling,
• retention of the vapor permeability of the material,
• preservation of the original appearance of the material,
• suppression of conditions favorable for the occurrence of undesirable microorganisms,
• high durability due to the resistance of silicones to weather conditions, UV radiation, low and high temperatures,
• easy application by painting, spraying, and for selected types also by soaking,
• the treated surface can subsequently be repainted exclusively with solvent-based coating systems.

The Lukofob products represent silicone liquids developed for hydrophobization of absorbent silicate construction substrates. The treatment prevents the absorption of rainwater, reduces the adhesion of dirt and the leaching of soluble components, protects against the effects of acidic rains, and helps maintain the thermal insulation properties of silicate masonry. The effect of hydrophobic protection lasts for 5 to 10 years, and the application can be repeated.

Use of Lukofob hydrophobic coating:

Final surface protection of all porous silicate materials (plaster, gas concrete, concrete, sandstone, bricks, ceramic or fiber cement roofing) against weather influences. It is suitable only for well-absorbing, lighter substrates. It is applied diluted with water in a single layer to ensure its complete absorption into the substrate.
