Lukofob 39 hydrophobic coating, 1 l

Silycon concentrate of methylsilanolate for hydrophobization of most light mineral well-absorbing surfaces (plasters, concrete, bricks, sandstone, limestone). Before application by spraying and coating, dilute with water in a ratio of 1:10 – 1:40 or at least 1:75 for soaking baths. Another use as an injection preparation for masonry against penetrating ground moisture.

Characteristics of Lukofob 39 hydrophobic coating:

• Limitation of absorbency of porous silicate materials,
• reduction of soiling of treated material,
• preservation of material's vapor permeability,
• preservation of the original appearance of the material,
• limitation of conditions for the occurrence of undesirable microorganisms,
• long-term durability thanks to silicone's resistance to weather, UV, low or high temperatures,
• simple application by coating, spraying, some types also by soaking,
• final finish can be repainted only with solvent-based coating systems.

Lukofobs are liquids based on silicone that serve to hydrophobize porous silicate building materials. Their application limits the absorbency of rainwater into the surface, reduces soiling and leaching of soluble components, prevents the action of acid rains, and preserves the thermal insulation of silicate masonry materials. The lifespan of hydrophobic treatments is 5 to 10 years and can be repeated.

Use of Lukofob hydrophobic coating:

Final surface protection for all porous silicate materials (plaster, gas-concrete, concrete, sandstone, bricks, fired or fiber-cement roofing) against weather influences. It is suitable only for well-absorbing, lighter substrates. It is applied after dilution with water in a single layer so that it is fully absorbed into the substrate.
