Description Polyversum-Biogarden fungicide for plant protection, 5 g

A smart fungus for plant protection against molds in the form of a wettable powder. The oospores of the soil microorganism Pythium oligandrum is a smart fungus that acts fungicidally against a range of fungal diseases, such as for example, potato blight on potatoes, cucumbers, tomatoes. Polyversum is a parasitic fungus that invades the cells of the mold with its filaments and extracts the necessary substances for its nutrition. Pythium does not attack the plants themselves, but only the mold on them.

It is essential to follow the application instructions, which can be done in several ways, including watering, spraying on leaves, soaking roots, cuttings, or entire plants, and seed soaking.

  • the use of this product is 100% ecological and the effect is reliable
  • mycoparasitism, breaks down the thalli of phytopathogens and obtains nutrients for its own nutrition
  • induction of resistance, secondary metabolites stimulate the formation of morphological and biochemical barriers
  • growth stimulation, secondary metabolites promote the formation of growth phytohormones
  • due to the biological principle of action, it is not possible to overdose the plants with the product.

It is important to soak the product in water for about 20 minutes to half an hour before the actual application to activate the oospores. This suspension should be used within 10 hours.

It can be used in households on most houseplants, on crops in the garden (e.g., strawberries, cucumbers, potatoes, poppy, sunflowers, and others), but also in field farming (e.g., rapeseed).

Use plant protection products safely. Always read the label and product information before use.

Methods of application of the Polyversum Biogarden fungicide:

Watering:

Watering with a 0.05% suspension of the product. This means 1 g of powder (about a teaspoon) in 2 liters of water. We dose approximately 5 ml of suspension per seedling. There is no danger in exceeding the dose. The purpose is mainly to initially support the growth of young plants and protect them from soil mycopathogens, inducing resistance against potato blight.

Spraying:

Spraying with a 0.05% suspension, prepared in the same way as for watering. However, it is recommended to repeatedly pass the suspension through a filter (an old clean stocking will suffice) to avoid possible clogging of the sprayer nozzles. Spray only in calm weather or a light breeze, in the direction of the wind and away from other people.

Soaking seedlings/roots of plants:

Soaking the root ball of seedlings in a prepared 0.05% suspension just before planting (alternatively, the trays with seedlings can be poured with the suspension).

Seed soaking

5 grams is sufficient for 1 kg of seed. It is enough to mix the seed with the product. It is intended to prevent damping off in seedlings.

Strawberries are treated at planting against root rot and during the growing season against gray mold on the fruits. Cucumbers can be treated with the smart fungus against fungal diseases from sowing by soaking the seeds and continuing with waterings or sprays. Sclerotinia rot, gray mold, and alternaria leaf spot are diseases affecting sunflowers, and this product can effectively defend against them.

Soaking the root system has proven effective when planting vineyards. The advantage of the product is long shelf life, and the life span of the oospores of the microorganism Pythium oligandrum lasts up to two years.

Crops:

Potato, seed potatoes, cruciferous vegetables, hops, sugar beet, mustard, peas, strawberries, spring barley, chestnut, fodder beet, lupin, poppy, cucumber, pepper, wheat, tomato, oilseed radish, rapeseed, grapevine, forest and ornamental nurseries, sunflowers, soybeans, golf and ornamental lawns, triticale, vegetables, rye.

Diseases:

Alternaria leaf spot, anthracnose, pea anthracnose, black rot of rapeseed, blackening of stem bases, red rot, fusarium rot of ears, phytophthora rot, helminthosporium, common downy mildew, fungal diseases, root diseases, seedling diseases, ink disease of the chestnut, potato cyst nematode, potato blight, hop and poppy mold, gray mold, cabbage mold, rusts, soft rot of corn, sugar beet scab, stem rot.
