The correct setting of the pH value of water is a necessary condition for the perfect functioning of all water treatment products and for creating pleasant conditions. Bathing water should have a pH value in the range of 6.8-7.6. This range, among other things, ensures the best effectiveness of chlorine without side effects.
Dosing:
Depends on the carbonate hardness of the water. An approximate calculation of the dose for 10 m3, which will reduce the pH by approximately 0.1, is as follows: m=(5.8 . No + 15) g. No is the hardness of the water in degrees German hardness. If you do not know the water hardness, dose 80 g/10 m3.

Depends on the carbonate hardness of the water. An approximate dosage calculation for 10 m3 that will lower pH by about 0.1 is as follows: m=(5.8 . No + 15) g. No is the hardness of water in German hardness degrees. If you do not know the water hardness, dose 80 g/10 m3.
To raise pH, a typical dosage is 100 g / 10 m3 of water. It is advisable to first dissolve the dose in about 1 liter of water and pour it into the deepest part of the pool while the filtration is running, or spread the dose on the surface in the deepest part of the pool also while the filtration is running. Control measurements should be made after 12 to 24 hours and repeat the process according to the results until the pH of the pool water reaches the desired value.
