Description Drop Tester for Cl and pH
A drop tester used for 120 measurements of free and total chlorine ranging up to 10 mg/l and 120 determinations of pH in the range of 6.2-8.5. It is suitable for proper maintenance of pool water during the application of standard chlorine products.
The basic rule for maintaining clean and long-term hygienically safe water is to keep the level of active chlorine between 0.3-0.5 mg/l. For pH values, a range of 6.8-7.6 is usually recommended, where chlorine products work best without undesirable effects. The amount of chlorine and pH value must be regularly checked (at least twice a week, more often at higher water temperatures).
The tester is supplied in a plastic blister and includes reagents, cups, cards with color standards, instructions for use, and technical information.
