Use of Savo Chlor Shock:

Before use, adjust the pH value of the pool water to 7.1 – 7.5 using SAVO pH- or SAVO pH+. It is essential to use a test kit to measure active chlorine in the pool water. If the water is already treated, maintain the free chlorine level between 0.3 – 0.5 mg/l.

Recommended dilution of Savo Chlor Shock pool chemistry:

Dose 7 – 22 g per m3 of water.

Use a lower dose in cases: after filling the pool with clean drinking water, after downtime when there is no water quality issue, and for regular maintenance. Use the upper limit of the given dosage when using utility water, during extended downtime, or when there is a water quality issue.

Using 0.18 g of the product per 1m3 of water will raise the amount of free chlorine by 0.1 mg/l, but it is immediately decomposed by the elimination of microorganisms. Dissolve the product in a container with water and then apply it to the pool with the filtration system running. In case of applying a shock dose of chlorine, the presence of individuals in the pool should be excluded.

For a clean pool, use SAVO Chlor Tablets or SAVO 3-in-1 Complex Tablets to maintain the level of active chlorine. To fine-tune the water, use SAVO Flocculant, for clearer water SAVO Clarifier. For potential disinfection of pool walls and its surroundings, use a solution of 2.5 g per 10l of water against bacteria and viruses, 15 g per 10l of water against mold. A measuring cup of 100 ml corresponds to approximately 95 g of the product.

NEVER THROW THE PRODUCT DIRECTLY INTO THE POOL! Wear protective gloves and goggles, always dose the product into prepared water and not the other way around. Never mix with other products. Always store in a closed container in a dry place protected from direct sunlight at temperatures between 5 – 25 °C and out of reach of children. Do not smoke, eat or drink while working with the product.
