Mineral fertilizer for improving crop nutrition Sulka Ca Biom is a highly effective agent designed to supplement nutrients in the soil. It contains a concentrated amount of sulfur, potassium, nitrogen, and calcium that are readily available to plants. Sulfur is present in polysulfide form, which allows gradual oxidation in the soil, thereby providing a long-term effect on crop quality. The fertilizer also helps reduce soil acidity and increases the availability of trace elements for plants. When applied, it has also proven effective in combating certain pests, such as the harmful nematode in garlic, which is particularly beneficial during the soaking of seed before planting.

Key features of the Sulka Ca Biom fertilizer:

1. High sulfur content (19 %) – provides plants with easily assimilable sulfur in two forms (quick and gradually acting), ensuring a long-term supply of this key nutrient.
2. Delivers potassium in a non-chloride form (14 %) – potassium is fully water-soluble and well absorbed by plants, contributing to the growth and development of crops.
3. Nitrogen content (3 %) in the form of urea – supports quick nitrogen uptake without nitrate components, which is more environmentally friendly.
4. Calcium in a water-soluble form (2 %) as a secondary nutrient – helps regulate plant metabolism and strengthens their natural resistance (induced resistance).
5. Improves the availability of trace elements and reduces soil acidity – increases the efficiency of all present nutrients and improves overall soil quality.

Recommended use and dosing:

• Application: watering or soaking (e.g., for garlic or bulb planting), ideally at temperatures of 10–20 °C in calm weather.
• Leaf application is not recommended, as it may cause burning of young leaves.
• Dosing: depends on the type of plant, for garlic it is recommended to soak at a dose of 100 ml in 2.5 l of water for 6–12 hours, for potatoes and cabbage the dose is 50–120 ml in 30 l of water for 10 m².

• Garlic, bulb plants, potatoes, cabbage, oilseeds, peach trees, grapevines, and fruit trees – before sprouting or for baseline soil fertilization during dormancy.
