Ceresit CT 7 universal primer 1 l

The universal primer Ceresit CT 7 is designed for absorbent substrates as a base coat before further construction work. It unifies the surface, enhances its adhesion, and prevents the adhesives, sealants, and paints from drying too quickly.

It can be used in both indoor and outdoor environments on common construction surfaces such as plasters, concrete, or aerated concrete.

Main properties

• reduces the absorbency of the substrate – the surface does not “drink” water as quickly
• increases the adhesion of subsequent layers (adhesives, leveling compounds, paints)
• vapour permeable – allows the walls to “breathe”
• versatile use in indoor and outdoor spaces
• suitable for: concrete, cement and lime-cement plasters, aerated concrete, gypsum substrates
• prevents quick drying of subsequent materials (better workability)
• water-dilutable, solvent-free
• easy application with a brush or roller
• approximate drying time: about 2 hours (depending on the substrate)
