Synthetic metal is a two-component resin specially designed for the repair of metal surfaces. It cold welds (aluminum, copper), seals, joins, and fills cracks. It also acts as a protective film against corrosion. It is resistant to acids, detergents, and minerals. It does not crumble over time. After curing, it has a metallic appearance and can be sanded, drilled, polished, and painted. The sealant with metal filler consists of metal powder (plastic bottle) and resin (tube). Depending on the type of use, the consistency of the mixture can be changed.

For a thick consistency, use a larger amount of metal powder. Apply the mixture with a knife or spatula. For a liquid consistency, mix a little metal powder with a large amount of resin. This mixture hardens within 30 minutes. It is ideal for impregnating and protecting large surfaces against corrosion. It can be applied with a brush, roller, or spray gun. If using a spray gun, it is necessary to add 5 - 10% acetone to the mixture.

Instructions for use:
Synthetic metal consists of metal powder (plastic container) and resin (metal tube). The consistency of the mixture can vary depending on how the product will be used.

1. CLEAN AND THOROUGHLY DRY THE SURFACES TO BE TREATED. When renovating and on very glossy surfaces, it is advisable to sand the substrate before application.
2. Mix the desired ratio of powder and resin in a plastic container until a perfectly homogeneous mixture is formed. The user must decide based on the intended use whether a liquid mixture (for protection or casting) or a thicker mixture (for filling, gluing…) is needed.
3. In any case, it is important to achieve a homogeneous mixture. The shelf life of the mixture will depend on the ratio used and the ambient temperature. Higher temperatures shorten the shelf life and curing time. The following table serves as a reference (insert sealant table)
4. Apply the Synthetic metal in individual layers and using a spatula onto the treated surface and allow it to dry for several minutes. The curing time will depend on the consistency of the mixture: the thicker it is, the faster it will dry.
5. Once hardened, it can be sanded, drilled, polished, and painted.
6. CLEAN tools and product residues with universal thinner.

For coloring:
Synthetic metal can be painted on the surface, and before painting with liquid colors, the hardened surface should be sanded.
