Description BALTECH sodium hydroxide for drain cleaning, pearls, 1 kg
Baltech sodium hydroxide, lye, for cleaning drains and pipes, bleaching and coloring textiles, degreasing baths. Not only for cleaning boilers, pipes, and drains. Dosage is based on the relevant work procedure. Sodium hydroxide is a hygroscopic substance. It absorbs carbon dioxide from the air. It dissolves easily in water and ethanol. A large amount of heat is released during dissolution. The solution reacts strongly alkaline.
Organic impurities, animal fur, hairs, nails, or hair can cause clogging of drains in the bathroom, toilet and kitchen. These impurities create a resistant and solid barrier, making the flow of water practically impossible. Clogged toilets and drains are common and will appear in every household at some point. In households, lye is mainly used for cleaning wastewater and pipes. It easily deals with organic materials of various kinds and will restore clogged drains within minutes.
Sodium hydroxide, commonly referred to as lye, is a very strong caustic agent. Other names for sodium hydroxide include natron, sodium hydroxide, or caustic soda. The chemical formula for lye is NaOH. Sodium hydroxide is not flammable or explosive, but it can decompose and produce corrosive or toxic gases when exposed to heat.
