Laguna pH Minus to Reduce pH Levels, 2.25 kg

The Laguna pH Minus pool chemistry is designed to lower the pH level of pool water. The ideal pH level for swimming water should be between 6.8 and 7.6. Within this range, disinfectants work with maximum efficiency and without negative side effects. At pH levels below 6.8, there may be increased damage to pool materials, fading of colors, and irritation to the eyes and skin. pH values above 7.6 can cause milky cloudiness in the water, a chlorine smell, as well as irritation to the eyes and skin, and may lead to filter clogging.

Usage of pH Minus Pool Chemistry:

For maximum chlorine effectiveness without side effects, it is necessary to adjust the pH level of the pool water to 6.8 to 7.6. Slowly add the required amount of the product (dissolved in water in a plastic container) at the water inflow to the pool with the filtration system turned on. Conduct pH level checks (testers) only after thorough mixing. Repeat this procedure until the pH is within the desired range. Until the product is thoroughly mixed by the filtration system, the presence of people in the pool must be excluded! Subsequently, check the pH level once a week and adjust any deviations from the ideal level by adding Laguna pH Plus or Laguna pH Minus. Checking is especially necessary before adding disinfectants.

Instructions for Using pH Minus Pool Chemistry:

The product is dissolved in water and added to the pool with the filtration system turned on to lower the pH level. pH should be checked at least once a week using a testing kit.

Yield of pH Minus Pool Chemistry:

15 g of the product (1 level tablespoon) per 1 m³ of water (1,000 liters) reduces the pH level by approximately 0.2 (for hard water, a higher dose is usually needed).
