Surface preparation:
The surface must be clean and free of dust, grease and oil. The surface must not be constantly exposed to moisture. One of the bonded surfaces must be absorbent, as Water must evaporate from the joint to achieve a strong bond. In the case of highly absorbent surfaces such as plaster, MDF, chipboard (not OSB) or clay bricks, it is possible that the adhesive dries too quickly around the perimeter of the application and the inner part of the joint does not form a sufficient bond. To ensure a desirable bond on fast absorbing surfaces, dampen the surface with Water from a spray bottle or a damp cloth before bonding. For non-absorbent or moisture sensitive surfaces, use Pattex FIX Total (PL700) or Pattex FIX Extreme Total.

Thetoothpick trick:
To prevent the glue from spreading too much over the surface when you press the glued object, try inserting a toothpick into the glue strip in several places. The toothpicks will maintain the correct distance from the surface and prevent the adhesive from being pushed out of the side of the joint when the object is pressed.
C<=0.5 kg/kg, VOC=0 kg/kg, Density=1.32-1.42 g/cm3. Once cured, dispose of the unconsumed contents at a location designated by the municipality for waste disposal.
