Bakrylex Universal Matt is a water-based, universal opaque matte enamel for indoor and outdoor coatings of wood, chipboard, masonry, paper, metal, etc. It provides excellent coverage and withstands weather conditions. When used for outdoor applications, renewal is expected every 3–5 years. The product meets the requirements for use on toy coatings. It demonstrates wet abrasion resistance - measured according to ČSN EN ISO 11998 - class 1. (classification according to EN 13300). The paint is not suitable for objects in permanently damp environments.

Instructions for Use:

Absorbent substrates must be treated beforehand with a suitable priming agent REMAL, BARLET or SOICRAT. Prime until the surface absorbs. Wood should be pre-treated with BAKRYLEX PRIMER. Metals must be rusted off, degreased, and primed with a suitable anti-corrosive primer.

Before use, mix the contents thoroughly. You can dilute the paint with a small amount of clean water. It is applied with a brush, spray, or roller in 2–3 layers at temperatures of 10–25 °C. The time interval between individual coats is at least 4 hours.

Coverage:

Approximate: 6 to 8 m² per 1 kg of paint (7 to 10 m² per 1 l) for one coat.

Shades:

It is available as a matte or glossy paint in shades according to special color charts, or it can be tinted to required shades in the TELURMIX tinting system at our corporate stores BARVY A LAKY DROGERIE.

Handling:

When working, observe basic hygiene rules. The product is not intended for coatings coming into direct contact with food, feed, and drinking water. Keep out of reach of children. If you feel unwell, seek medical attention. The product is treated with a biocide. It contains a mixture of: 5-chloro-2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one [ES number 247-500-7] and 2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one [ES number 220-239-6] (3:1). May cause allergic
reaction.

Shelf Life:

The product retains its useful properties for 5 years from the date of manufacture, in its original unopened packaging. Store in a dry place at temperatures between 5 and 25 °C.

Disposal of Packaging and Waste:

Dispose of the used, properly emptied packaging at a point designated for packaging waste. Dispose of packaging with remnants of the product at a location designated by the municipality for hazardous waste disposal, or hand it over to a person authorized to handle hazardous waste.
