INDUSTROL Plus top coat for metal and wood S2071, 1000 white, 375 ml

Top coat synthetic glossy fast-drying urethane.

CHARACTERISTICS AND USE:

For final top coats on metal and wood exposed to direct weather conditions and for interior paints. It features fast drying, excellent flow, and high gloss. It is also suitable for industrial applications. Examples of use - coatings for doors, frames, wooden furniture and paneling, wooden fences, gutters, sills, structures, garden furniture, carts, small industrial items, washable and abrasion-resistant wall coatings.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:

Wood must be clean, dry, well-sanded, with a moisture content of a maximum of 12%, and free from resin residues before application. Concrete or masonry substrate must be dry, cohesive, cleaned, well cured (usually 4 – 6 weeks), and architecturally insulated against ground (bottom) moisture. Metal substrate must be clean, dry, free from grease, rust, and dust, and mechanically cleaned. Absorbent substrates must be further soaked with a suitable primer, and potentially treated with an appropriate base coat. Metal substrates must be treated with a suitable anti-corrosion base coat. Previously painted surfaces must be cleaned, degreased, and freed from old non-adhering coatings.

DILUTION: thinner BALTECH S6006 (brush, roller), thinner BALTECH S6001 (spraying)

Theoretical coverage: 14 - 16 m2/l in one layer

WORKING PROCEDURE:

Before use, the contents should be thoroughly stirred and diluted if necessary.
Coating metal items
1.  One coat of primer PRAGOPRIMER STANDARD S2000, FORMEX PRIMER FOR GALVANIZED S2003, PRAGOPRIMER UNIVERSAL S2035 or PRAGOPRIMER PROFI S2129
2.   Local filling with filler such as BKP RAPID, sanding the filled area with sandpaper
3.  One coat of primer PRAGOPRIMER STANDARD S2000, FORMEX FOR GALVANIZED S2003, PRAGOPRIMER UNIVERSAL S2035 or PRAGOPRIMER PROFI S2129
4.  Sanding with sandpaper no. 280-320 wet
5.  2 to 3 coats of top coat INDUSTROL PLUS S2071. The optimal thickness of one layer is 30 - 35 mm.

Coating wooden items:
1.  One coat of soaking stain LAZUROL CLASSIC S1023 or UNIBAL IMPREGNATING VARNISH O1000, drying for 24 hours
2.  1 to 2 coats of primer PRAGOPRIMER PLUS S2070 or LAZUROL OKNOBAL PRIMER S2060
3.  2 to 3 coats of top coat INDUSTROL PLUS S2071. Each coat of the enamel must dry for at least 24 hours (20 °C). The optimal thickness of one layer is 30-35 mm.

• EUH211: Warning! Spraying may produce dangerous respirable droplets. Do not inhale aerosols or mist.

• H412: Harmful to aquatic life with long-lasting effects.

Safe handling instructions (P-statements)

• P261: Avoid breathing dust/fume/gas/mist/vapours/aerosols.

• P302+P352: IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of soap and water
• P305+P351+P338: IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.
• P333+P313: If skin irritation or rash occurs: Get medical advice/attention.
• P501: Dispose of contents/container in accordance with local regulations.
