Application of Het Klasic Color:

For interior wall and ceiling coatings, lime, lime-cement, plaster-lime, and gypsum plasters, drywall, fiberboard, and wood fiber boards, plasters with acrylic binders, renovation plasters (meets the requirement of WTA CZ directive No. 2-9-04/D, table 4 limiting the use of cover layers on renovation plasters from the perspective of permeability for water vapor), concrete panels and monoliths, specifically designated paper wallpapers, fiberglass wallpapers, etc. Also suitable for application on substrates combining, for example, mineral plasters and drywall. The product meets the requirements for coatings on surfaces that may come into indirect and direct occasional contact with food. The coating creates a matte, highly vapor-permeable surface that is resistant to normal humidity in rooms and resistant to abrasion with dry substances.

The coated surface must not be in constant contact with water and must not be exposed to condensing moisture. The dried coating can temporarily withstand temperatures of around 70 °C. The paint is suitable for the decoration of residential and commercial spaces, children's rooms, dining rooms, hallways, offices, retail spaces, etc.

Paint yield of Het Klasic Color::
6 – 10 m²/kg in one layer depending on the absorbency and structure of the substrate and the thickness of the applied layer.

Application of Het Klasic Color paint:
Recommended application – with paint rollers (perlon, polyacrylic, polyamide), brush; small areas - with a brush; large-scale application – spraying AIRLESS, HVLP. When spraying, it is advisable to conduct tests beforehand on the specific equipment.

Substrate:
Dry, cohesive, free from dirt and biological infestation (mold, algae), unsalted, non-greasy, free from formwork oils, chemically stable, mature (pH ≤8.5; control can be performed with a pH tester).

Application temperature:
The temperature of the material, environment, and substrate must be between +5 to +30 °C during application and up to 24 hours after application.

Application procedure:

1. A priming coat is applied with paint diluted with a maximum of 0.3 liters of water per 1 kg of paint, or with the penetrating agent A-GRUND or AT-GRUND, in the case of drywall and other minimally absorbent or extremely smooth substrates using UP-GRUND. If the substrate is non-powdery, minimally absorbent old coating film, the priming coat is not necessary. It is recommended to scrape off layers of old coatings with insufficient adhesion.
2. After the priming coat has dried, 1–2 covering coats of paint diluted with a maximum of 0.1 liters of water per 1 kg of paint are applied. On new or significantly differently colored substrates, more covering coats may be applied as needed.
