Protect PG rodenticide granules, 150 g

The rodent control product intended for the general public is used to exterminate the house mouse and the common rat. The granules provide an attractive bait for pests and contain a bitter substance that reduces the risk of ingestion by children and pets.

Active substance: Bromadiolone 27mg/kg

Rats:

100-200 g of bait for one rodent control station. If more rodent stations are needed, they should be spaced at least 5m apart. The bait should not be used as a permanent measure to prevent infestation or monitor rodent activity.

Use of Protect PG rodenticide granules:

The general public should consider whether the use of mechanical traps or other non-chemical methods would be sufficient to achieve the desired effect before using the product. If necessary, the product should be applied in rodent stations that are resistant to tampering and located out of reach of children, birds, domestic and livestock animals, and other non-target organisms, near areas where rodent activity is expected. If possible, the stations should be secured by anchoring them to the ground or fixed points to prevent removal. All food and feed should be removed from treated areas before applying the product. The stations should be marked with warning information: Do not move or open.

The product contains the rodenticide Bromadiolone. In case of an accident, call the Toxicology Information Centre. When handling the product, use protective gloves, do not eat, drink, or smoke. After finishing the activity, wash your hands and any contaminated skin with soap and water. Rodent stations must be checked no earlier than 5-7 days after the start of the rodent control and subsequently at least once a week to verify whether the bait is accepted, the rodent stations are intact, and for the collection of dead rodents. If necessary, replenish the bait. Remove any dirty or degraded bait. If, within 35 days of starting the rodent control, there is no suppression of rodent activity, seek advice from the product supplier or contact a pest control service. The product and rodents poisoned with the product can be dangerous for children, non-target animals, and birds.

Warning:

Instructions for disposal of the product and contaminated packaging: at the end of the rodent control, remove any unused and no longer usable bait and contaminated packaging as hazardous waste. The most suitable method is to burn them in a hazardous waste incinerator. Dead rodents can be disposed of by burning or burying them in a place where groundwater will not be contaminated. Individual animals that died during non-professional intervention can be disposed of in the municipal waste collection system.
