Proven and high-yielding semi-late variety. The root is spherical with an intensely purple surface. The tender flesh is of excellent taste, blood-red with broad, somewhat lighter stripes. It is universally applicable for direct consumption as well as for canning. It has good resistance to diseases.

- The best yields are obtained in areas with evenly distributed rainfall, in soils ranging from clay to humus sandy soils
- Optimal pH is 6.5 to 7.5
- Sown from April to May, dense June sowings can produce small tubers for canning whole
