Het whipped lightweight filler, 500 ml

Het whipped lightweight filler is a special, extremely lightweight filling material designed for leveling substrates (concrete panels, mineral and gypsum plasters, drywall, masonry) and filling cracks and joints in interiors and exteriors. It is perfect for local repairs of holes, sealing and smoothing edges and straight joints of boards or trims, repairing cracks in drywall constructions and panel apartments and is excellent for patching damaged corners.

Properties of Het whipped lightweight filler:

• Does not run, does not crack, easy to smooth,
• minimal volumetric contraction,
• does not require sanding,
• does not sink after drying,
• for interior and exterior use.

Shade:
non-standard white

Consumption:
depends on the nature and extent of the defect in the substrate

Drying time:
min. 4 - 24 hours at 20 °C and 60% relative humidity

Thinner:
not diluted. The dry appearance of the filler is not a defect, mixing will hydrate it and the filler can be slightly moistened with water (max. 1 teaspoon of water per 250 ml of product).

Application:
with a trowel or spatula

Substrate:
must be mature (pH ≤8.5; control can be done with a pH tester), dry, firm, cohesive, clean, free of dust, grease, salts, and loose parts, and without biological infestation (algae, mold). Original coating layers showing insufficient adhesion must be removed, for example, by scraping. Any loose sand grains from the plasters need to be swept or sanded off. To increase adhesion of the filler to the substrate, it is recommended to use A-GRUND, AT-GRUND, or 100-GRUND primer. Any metal elements affecting the treated surface must be treated with an anti-corrosive coating (e.g., AQUADECOL PRIMER anti-corrosive paint) before filling.

Application temperature:
during application and for 24 hours (preferably 48 hours) after application, the temperature of the substrate, material, and surrounding environment must be between +5 and +30 °C (preferably +8 to +25 °C).

Example of application procedure:

1. Absorbent substrate is primed with A-GRUND, 100-GRUND, or AT-GRUND according to the instructions for use. The primer is allowed to dry completely.
2. The filler is mixed (the dry appearance on the surface is not a defect; mixing will hydrate the filler, and it can be slightly moistened with water – max. 1 teaspoon of water per 250 ml of product).
3. The filler is applied in one or more layers within approximately 4 - 24 hours (depending on the amount applied, temperature, humidity, absorbency of the substrate, and other factors). Usually, one layer is sufficient. Immediately after application, the filler can be shaped and smoothed.
4. Work tools and soiled areas must be washed immediately with water.
5. The filler is left to dry completely (min. 24 hours or longer; the drying time is heavily dependent on the thickness of the layers, absorbency of the substrate, temperature, and humidity). Before painting with paints, it is recommended to re-prime the filled areas, preferably with UP-GRUND or other preparations A-GRUND, AT-GRUND, or 100-GRUND.
6. After drying, dispersion paints can be applied, for example, products from the KLASIK, HETLINE, or BRILLANT series. Lime and silicate coatings or paints without sufficient content of dispersion binder cannot be used on filled areas.
