PATTEX Heat-Resistant Silicone Red, 280 ml

PATTEX Heat-Resistant Silicone in red is specifically developed sealant for applications where it is necessary to withstand high temperatures while ensuring a long-lasting flexible and tight connection. Once cured, it retains permanent elasticity and is resistant to temperatures from -65 °C to +260 °C, with short-term resistance up to +315 °C. This capability makes it an ideal solution for sealing and repairs in environments with high temperature fluctuations – for example, in ovens, engines, chimney constructions, heating units, or air conditioning systems.

The sealant is designed to withstand ozone, UV radiation, aging, and weather influences, ensuring its suitability for both indoor and outdoor use. It adheres excellently to a wide range of materials including metal, glass, tiles, enamel, fiberglass, or ceramic surfaces. However, it should not be used in direct contact with certain types of metals – alternative products must be chosen for such applications.

Thanks to its red color, it is also easily visible even when installed in hard-to-reach places. The application is simple and precise – the sealant is easily applied using a standard gun, and once cured, it creates a reliable and flexible connection.

Before use:
Gaps must be clean, dry, and free of dust and grease. Cut off the top of the cartridge above the thread and screw the nozzle onto the cartridge. The tip of the nozzle must be cut according to the width of the gap/joint.
Insert the cartridge into the applicator gun. Apply silicone evenly into gaps.

Application:
Apply the silicone into the gap. Then smooth it with a spatula or a finger dipped in soapy water.
It is not recommended to paint over – due to the elasticity of the sealant, it will not adhere.

Cleaning:
Immediately remove adhesive residues with a damp cloth. Cured material can only be removed mechanically.
