Soudal polyurethane sealing compound, gray, 310 ml

Polyurethane sealing compound permanently flexible, adhesive sealant based on polyurethane. Suitable for flexible bonding and sealing of joints with requirements for flexibility and high resistance of the sealant. The polyurethane sealing compound has very good adhesion to most materials (except for PE, PP, PTFE) and excellent resistance to chemicals. Once cured, it is paintable, suitable for professional use.

Use for all sealing and bonding of expansion and vibration joints in construction and engineering, sealing and bonding of metal structures, expansion joints of industrial floors, flexible joints in container manufacturing and in the automotive industry.

Characteristics of Soudal polyurethane sealing compound:

• very good adhesion to most materials,
• excellent resistance to most chemicals,
• suitable for joints of concrete segments.

Substrates for polyurethane sealing compound:

Suitable surfaces: all common construction materials, most metals and plastics (do not use on glass). Surface condition: clean, dry, free of grease and dust. Surface preparation for sealing compound: in case of application under extreme climatic conditions (high temperatures, increased humidity) penetrate porous materials with Primer 100. Non-porous substrates do not need to be primed to increase adhesion; use Surface Activator for non-porous materials. It is always recommended to perform a preliminary adhesion test.

Working procedure for sealing compound:

Application: with an applicator gun (manual or pneumatic). Working temperature: +5 °C to +35 °C. Cleaning: immediately after application with White Spirit (paint thinner). Adjustments: For smoothing the surface, use Soudal Surface Smoother or soapy water. Repairs: Soudaflex 40 FC.
