Soudal roofing sealant polyurethane, gray, 310 ml

Polyurethane roofing sealant is a permanently elastic adhesive sealant made from polyurethane. It represents an ideal choice for flexible bonding and sealing joints with high demands on both elasticity and material durability. Polyurethane roofing sealant is characterized by very good adhesion to most materials (except PE, PP, PTFE) and excellent resistance to chemicals. Once cured, it is paintable and intended for professional use.

It is suitable for all bonding and sealing of vibrating and expansion joints in engineering and construction, bonding and sealing metal structures, expansion joints in industrial floors, as well as flexible joints in the automotive industry and during the production of containers.

Characteristics of Soudal roofing sealant:

• Very easy to use,

• very good adhesion to the majority of materials,

• suitable for joints of concrete segments.

Substrates for polyurethane roofing sealant:

Suitable surfaces: all common construction materials, most metals and plastics (do not use on glass). Surface condition: clean, dry, free of grease and dust. Surface preparation for roofing sealant: in case of application under extreme climatic conditions (high temperatures, increased humidity), penetrate porous materials with Primer 100. Non-porous substrates may not require priming; for increased adhesion on non-porous materials, use Surface Activator. It is always recommended to perform a preliminary adhesion test.

Application procedure for roofing sealant:

Application: using a gun (manual or pneumatic). Working temperature: +5 °C to +35 °C. Cleaning: immediately after application with White Spirit (paint thinner). Adjustments: To smooth the surface, use Soudal Surface Smoother or soapy water. Repairs: Soudaflex 40 FC.
