Soudal T-Rex Crystal mounting adhesive, transparent, 290 ml

Soudal T-Rex Crystal is a unique 100% clear adhesive and sealant in one. Thanks to the use of SMX technology from Soudal, it is the most versatile product with the widest application on the market. Its properties outperform most sealants and adhesives. Like silicone, it is equally resistant to UV radiation and as flexible as acrylic sealant which is paintable with most coatings, and like polyurethane sealant, it has strong adhesive effects. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use and has excellent adhesion to most building materials. It contains no solvents, acids, or isocyanates. It does not lose its properties even in a high humidity environment, making it suitable for sanitary purposes. It cures very quickly and creates a highly strong, permanently flexible, and invisible bond.

Characteristics of the mounting adhesive:

• very good workability. Directly applicable even in adverse conditions
• perfect adhesion and quick curing on almost all porous and non-porous building materials (except PP, PE, Teflon, PMMA)
• adheres even to damp surfaces
• high level of mechanical properties, flexibly adapts to thermal expansion and vibration

• good extrudability from cartridge even at low temperatures
• excellent UV resistance, color stability
• environmentally friendly – contains no isocyanates, solvents, halogens, or acids
• excellent resistance to most chemicals – to water, aliphatic solvents, mineral oils, greases diluted with inorganic acids and alkalis
• mildew resistant, suitable for sanitary applications
• does not leave stains on porous materials such as natural stone, granite, etc. (when applying to marble, please test the sealant on a small area)
• Creates a crystalline clear, invisible bond

• structural bonding and sealing of joints in vibrating and stressed construction
• bonding and sealing of joints between sheet metals, plumbing adhesive joints
• elastic bonding of panels, boards, sandwiches, profiles and other parts on most common substrates
• paintable product for filling gaps or openings
• bonding mirrors directly to the reflective layer
• bonding panels, insulation materials, skirting boards, battens, cladding, board materials, etc. to walls

Chemical resistance:
Good: water, aliphatic solvents, mineral oils, lubricants (vaseline), diluted inorganic acids and bases. Poor: aromatic solvents, concentrated acids, chlorinated hydrocarbons. Substrates: all usual surfaces. Surface condition: clean, cohesive without grease and dust. Preparation: we recommend priming porous and damp substrates with Primer 150. You can enhance adhesion on non-porous materials with Soudal Surface Activator. It is always advisable to perform a preliminary adhesion test.

Working procedure:
Application: by hand or pneumatic applicator gun, prepare the surface with a smoothing trowel and surface smoother for sealants. Working temperature: +1 °C to +30 °C. Cleaning: uncured can be cleaned with acetone or paint thinners - White Spirit after curing mechanically and with Soudal Silicone Remover. Repairs: T-REX CRYSTAL.

Paintability:
The product is paintable with various coatings. Paints may vary in composition according to the manufacturer. Therefore, we recommend testing the compatibility of the product with the coating in advance. The drying time of alkyd paints may be prolonged.

Recommendations:
The product can be applied to most common building materials. The composition of these materials (plastics, polycarbonates, plasters, metals, etc.) may vary by manufacturer. Before starting work, we always recommend testing the adhesion of the product to the surface. The product is not recommended for glazing insulated double-glazing.
