LAZUROL OKNOBAL EMAIL U2015 is a top synthetic paint for windows and doors.

CHARACTERISTICS AND USE:

The paint is designed for glossy top coatings of wood, especially wooden windows, doors, wooden frames, various cladding, ceilings, furniture (including garden furniture) etc. in interior and exterior applications. It features excellent mechanical properties, high coverage, UV resistance, excellent plasticity, very fast drying, and high gloss. The paint spreads well, does not run during application, and has excellent flowability. The white shade is characterized by high whiteness.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:

Wood must be clean, dry, well-sanded, with a moisture content of max. 12%, free of resin residues before application. Wood with high resin content (larch, pine) must be freed from all resin exudates first, e.g. by washing with nitro thinner C 6000. The quality of the wood preparation impacts the overall appearance of the final wood finish as well as the overall durability of the coating system. The surface of the wood must first be impregnated with a suitable impregnant that ensures uniform absorbency of the substrate and higher wood protection (if using a fungicidal impregnant, also protection against wood damage by mold, fungi, and insects). Subsequently, the surface of the wood needs to be sanded with fine sandpaper and then the primer for wood should be applied. When renovating, the wood must be stripped of old non-adhering coatings and a good adhesion of the substrate must be ensured (when completely removing the old coat, the new coat is applied gradually, including wood impregnation). It is recommended to follow the entire coating system according to the manufacturer's data sheet.

DILUTION: diluent BALTECH S6006

Theoretical coverage: 15 - 17 m²/l per one coat

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

Before use, mix the contents thoroughly and dilute if necessary. The paint is applied to the pre-prepared substrate with a brush, roller, or spray.

1. 1x coat with clear glaze LAZUROL CLASSIC S1023 or to achieve protection against wood-destroying fungi and molds, it is advisable to use LAZUROL IMPREGNATING BASE S1033 as an impregnating coat. Wipe off any excess impregnant after 10 to 15 minutes with a cloth or dry brush.
2. After 24 hours of drying, lightly sand with sandpaper.
3. 1x coat with primer PRAGOPRIMER PLUS S2070 or LAZUROL OKNOBAL PRIMER S2060, optimal film thickness of one coat 25 to 30 µm, drying 6 hours.
4. Sanding with sandpaper.
5. 1 to 2x coats with top email LAZUROL OKNOBAL EMAIL U2015, optimal thickness of one layer 35 µm. To create long-term effectiveness of the coating, it is advisable to apply the email in two thinner layers. A coat with a thickness of 35 µm can be re-coated 10 hours after completion of the first layer at a temperature of 20 - 25 °C. With a thicker layer, the interval between coats needs to be extended.
