LAZUROL OKNOBAL EMAIL U2015 is a top synthetic paint for windows and doors.

CHARACTERISTICS AND USE:

The paint is intended for top glossy coats of wood, especially wooden windows, doors, wooden frames, various cladding, ceilings, furniture (including garden furniture), etc. in interior and exterior. It features excellent mechanical properties, high coverage, UV resistance, excellent plasticity, very fast drying, and high gloss. The paint spreads well, does not form runs during application, and has excellent leveling properties. The white shade is characterized by high whiteness.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:

Wood must be clean, dry, well-sanded, with a moisture content of max. 12%, and free of resin residues before application. Wood with a high resin content (larch, pine) must be completely cleaned of all resin exudations, for example, by washing with solvent C 6000. The quality of wood pre-treatment affects the overall appearance of the final wood finish and also the overall lifespan of the coating system. The surface of the wood must first be impregnated with a suitable primer that ensures uniform substrate absorption and higher wood protection (in the case of using a fungicidal primer, also protection against attack by mold, fungi, and insects). Subsequently, the wood surface must be lightly sanded with fine sandpaper and then apply a wood primer. For renovation coatings, it is necessary to remove old non-adherent coatings and ensure good substrate adhesion (in case of complete removal of the old coating, the new coating should be applied gradually, including wood impregnation). It is recommended to follow the entire coating system according to the manufacturer's data sheet.

Theoretical coverage: 15 - 17 m²/l for one coat

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

Before use, the contents should be thoroughly stirred and diluted as needed. The paint is applied to the pre-prepared substrate using a brush, roller, or spray.

1. 1 coat with clear glaze LAZUROL CLASSIC S1023 or to achieve protection against wood-destroying fungi and molds, it is suitable to use LAZUROL IMPREGNATION BASE S1033 as a primer coat. Wipe off any excess primer after 10 to 15 minutes with a cloth or dry brush.
2. After 24 hours of drying, lightly sand with sandpaper.
3. 1 coat of primer paint PRAGOPRIMER PLUS S2070 or LAZUROL OKNOBAL BASE S2060, optimal film thickness of one layer 25 to 30 µm, drying 6 hours.
4. Sanding with sandpaper.
5. 1 to 2 coats of top email LAZUROL OKNOBAL EMAIL U2015, optimal thickness of one layer 35 µm. To achieve the long-lasting effectiveness of the coating, it is advisable to apply the email in two thinner layers. A layer thickness of 35 µm can be overcoated after 10 hours from the application of the first layer at a temperature of 20 - 25 °C. For greater layer thickness, the interval between coats should be extended.
