PATTEX Mason's Putty is a special one-component putty based on inorganic materials, designed for sealing and repairs in environments with extremely high temperatures. Its main advantage is thermal resistance up to 1,200 °C, while it can briefly withstand loads up to 1,500 °C, making it an ideal choice for use in areas such as fireplaces, stoves, boilers, chimneys, ovens, exhaust pipes, or barbecues.
Once cured, it creates a hard, strong bond that is resistant to cracking even under repeated heating and cooling. This putty is the perfect solution for sealing joints, filling cracks, and repairing damaged areas on devices exposed to high heat. Due to its mineral base, it does not contain organic solvents, is non-flammable, and stable even under long-term exposure to heat.
It is suitable for use both indoors and in protected outdoor environments, for example, during the construction or repair of garden ovens and barbecues. For proper function, it is important to follow the technological procedure, especially allowing sufficient drying time and gradual heating.
Main advantages of the product:
Before use:
Surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of grease. Cut the top off the cartridge above the thread and screw the nozzle onto the cartridge. The tip of the nozzle must be cut according to the width of the joint.
Insert the cartridge into the applicator gun. Apply the putty evenly into the joints.
Application:
Apply the putty evenly. If necessary, the surface of the putty can be smoothed with a spatula before drying.
Allow to dry for at least 2 days and then gradually increase the temperature to prevent bubbles.
Cleaning:
Immediately remove excess putty with a damp cloth. Cured material can only be removed mechanically.
