It is a decorative paint with a satin finish. The product contains thousands of silver particles, which will make the decorated wall shine in the light. The obtained effect is very subtle, and its intensity increases with a stronger light source. The paint is intended for painting walls and ceilings indoors. It is characterized by great coverage and high washability.

Application of Primacol Decorative paint:

The paint is intended for painting surfaces made of mineral and gypsum plasters, gypsum boards, bricks, wooden surfaces, wood-based surfaces, and fiberglass wallpapers.

Surface preparation:

The surface to be painted must be stable, clean, dry, and compact. Fresh plasters can be painted only after 4 weeks of drying.

Poorly adhering paint (that is peeling) and old coatings of sticky paints should be removed, and the surface should be washed with water. Well-adhering emulsion paint should be cleaned with water mixed with a cleaning agent. Fill unevenness with filler, sand down and dust off. In the case of absorbent surfaces, it is recommended to apply a primer emulsion or a base coat.

Painting:

The color displayed on the packaging may differ from the actual color due to printing possibilities and cannot be a reason for complaint. To ascertain the exact color, ask the seller for a color sample. Before applying the paint, conduct a test on a control surface to familiarize yourself with the painting technique. For painting the entire surface, use products from the same production batch.

Achieving the effect:

After preparing the surface, begin to realize the effect. Carefully open the container of Let’s shine Primacol Decorative paint and thoroughly mix its contents. Then, pour the contents of the glitter bag, which is included in the paint kit, into it. After that, mix the contents thoroughly once again, trying to evenly distribute the glitter. Perform this manually; using an electric mixer could damage the glitter.

Attention! Plan painting work so that you use the prepared paint within 24 hours. Otherwise, the glitter effect may not be visible. Perform painting work at room and substrate temperatures >5°C, avoiding direct sunlight on the painted surface.

Start painting from the corners and hard-to-reach places, and then move to larger areas. When painting, use a microfiber roller with a short nap. During the work, move from the source of natural light towards the center of the room. Load a large amount of paint on the roller and spread it with vertical strokes in a V-shape – this will ensure even coverage of the surface. Be careful not to paint with a dry or semi-dry roller, keeping it away from the wall only at the bottom or top, but not in the middle. Regularly and thoroughly mix the paint in the container. Join other sections of painting using the “wet on wet” method. While painting one area, try to avoid breaks and corrections on the semi-dry paint. Depending on the substrate and the chosen shade, it may be necessary to apply a second coat of paint. Apply the second coat of paint after 3-4 hours from the completion of the previous layer. The finished decorative effect is achieved after 12 hours.

During and after painting, ventilate the room until the smell disappears.

The colored coating will acquire its full durable properties (washability and abrasion resistance) 28 days after the painting work.

Store in an airtight original container at a temperature of 5-25 °C, in a dry place. Do not expose to sunlight. Keep out of reach of children. In case of ingestion, seek medical help immediately – show the container or label.
