Het Mikral Renovo Active silicone facade paint, white 3 kg

Het Mikral Renovo Active is a high-quality silicone facade paint designed for top coats of facades and external thermal insulation composite systems (ETICS). It is suitable for both new and renovated facades. Thanks to the added microfibers, it can bridge hairline cracks and protects the surface against the growth of algae and mold.

Properties:

• High water repellency and low dirt retention.
• Good vapor permeability and resistance to weather conditions.
• Abrasion-resistant, washable, and durable coating.
• Matte white appearance with the possibility of tinting.
• Contains biocidal components for protection against biological attack.

Usage:

• For mineral substrates – lime, lime-cement, stucco and brizolit plasters, concrete, masonry, insulation systems, etc.
• Particularly suitable for renovating older facades and for new buildings in demanding climatic conditions.

Preparation and application:

• The substrate must be clean, dry, firm, free of dust, grease, and loose particles.
• In case of algae or mold presence, it is necessary to remove them and use products for their elimination.
• Penetrate the surface with an appropriate primer.
• Thoroughly mix the paint and apply it in two coats with a brush, roller, or spraying.
• Allow the first coat to dry properly (approx. 4 hours at 20 °C) and apply the second coat.

Coverage

• Approximately 6–7 m²/kg in one coat on a smooth substrate.
• A 3 kg package is sufficient for approximately 18–21 m² for one coat or 9–14 m² for two coats.
