Description Hostagrund Paint Remover P8214, 5 kg
The paint remover is a mixture of organic solvents and paraffin. The remover is used for removing old layers of paint from wood, iron (except aluminum), or stone.
It is suitable for removing oil-based, alkyd, dispersion, synthetic, nitrocellulose, and two-component paints.
Application procedure:
Apply with a soft brush with long bristles on the old paint layer to a thickness of 1 – 2 mm and let it work for 15 – 45 minutes at a temperature of 15-25°C. The time needed to remove the old paint depends not only on the type of paint but also on the age of the paint and the number of layers being removed. After the paint is disturbed, old layers can be removed with a steel scraper.
If there are multiple layers of paint on the surface, it is necessary to repeat the process. The last remnants of paint can be removed with water or thinner C 6000 or product P 6401 Acetone to achieve a perfectly clean surface.
