UNIBAL Impregnating Oil O1000, 9 l

Oil-based impregnating agent on a traditional natural base, designed primarily for basic impregnation of wood, with excellent penetration properties.

PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS AND USE:
Used primarily for basic impregnation of wood, plasters, and other absorbent substrates, before further coatings with oil, synthetic, or dispersion paints. It ensures perfect adhesion of topcoats, thereby protecting the substrate from adverse weather effects.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:

Wood must be clean, dry, well-sanded, with a moisture content of max. 12%, and free of resin residues before application. Wood with a high resin content (larch, pine) must be freed from all resin exudations beforehand, e.g., by washing with BALTECH C6000 thinner. The quality of wood pre-treatment affects the overall appearance of the final
surface treatment of the wood and also the overall longevity of the coating system. Mineral substrates must be matured for at least 28 days before application, must be dry and free of dust, must not be contaminated with grease or oil products, and must be isolated from ground moisture.

DILUENT: BALTECH S6006

Theoretical coverage: approximately 7 m²/ l for one layer depending on the absorbency of the substrate

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

Before use, thoroughly mix the contents and dilute if necessary. Apply with a brush, roller, or dipping onto the prepared substrate.
Colored wood treatment:
  - 1× application of UNIBAL IMPREGNATING OIL O1000. After about 20 minutes, it is necessary to wipe off excess oil so that no glossy coating remains on the surface
  - after 48 hours of drying, sand the surface with sandpaper
  - 1 to 2× application of base coat UNIBAL PAINT OIL O2025
  - 1 to 2× application of topcoat INDUSTROL UNIVERSAL S2013 or LAZUROL WINDOW EMAIL U2015
