ETERNAL anticor acrylic is designed to protect metal structures against corrosion as a primer. It is also suitable for mixed constructions where steel is in contact with new, uncorroded galvanized sheet metal.
Application:
ETERNAL anticor acrylic is applied in 2 layers after proper mixing on a well-cleaned metal substrate, free from all non-adhering old coatings and corrosion products (e.g., using a rotary steel brush) and degreased, use ETERNAL degreaser. The paint must be applied immediately after cleaning the substrate. It is not intended for spraying with electric spray guns. The time between individual coats is 5 hours at 20°C. Coatings on steel substrates should be carried out in a dry environment. The minimum temperature of the substrate and the environment during application is 10°C. In cold weather, it is advisable to first apply one very thin coat so that it dries quickly. The dried primer must be covered (1-2 layers) with a top coat, e.g., ETERNAL matte acrylic.
Consumption:
0.12–0.16 kg/m2 (1 layer)
