Het A-Grund Universal Primer, 5 kg

Universal primer designed for acrylic, silicone, and siloxane paints as well as other materials.

Advantages:
impregnating coating for indoor and outdoor spaces, unifies different substrate absorbency, strengthens the surface, improves adhesion of subsequent coatings, and is ready for immediate application.

Usage:
as a primer before applying acrylic, silicone, siloxane, latex interior and facade paints, acrylic fillers and adhesives on mineral substrates, especially on lime-cement plasters

Coverage:
5 - 10 m²/kg in one layer depending on the absorbency and structure of the substrate as well as the thickness of the applied layer

Substrate:
dry, cohesive, free from dirt and biological infestations (mold, algae), non-salted, non-greasy, free from formwork oils, chemically stable, mature (pH ≤8.5; control can be performed with pH tester).

Example of application procedure:

1. the basic penetrating coat is applied with the A-GRUND product in one layer and left to dry for 24 hours. Any stains from water infiltration, rust, soot, aniline dyes, or nicotine are to be covered with the isolating coating I-GRUND or, in cases of greater intensity, with the HETLINE IZOL paint.
2. after the primer has dried, cover coats are applied with paint (according to specific instructions for use)
3. protect all tools from drying out during work breaks and wash them with water after use. Immediately wash any soiled areas with water; dried coating material is difficult to remove. Ensure thorough ventilation during application and drying in interiors.
