Het A-Grund Universal Primer, 5 kg

Universal primer for acrylic, silicone, and siloxane paints and other materials.

Advantages:
impregnating primer for both interior and exterior, unification of different substrate absorbency, strengthening of the substrate, increased adhesion of subsequent coats, ready for immediate use.

Application:
as a base coat before the application of acrylic, silicone, siloxane, latex interior and facade paints, acrylic fillers and adhesives on mineral substrates, mainly on lime-cement plasters

Coverage:
5 - 10 m²/kg in one layer depending on the absorbency and structure of the substrate and the thickness of the applied layer

Substrate:
dry, cohesive, free from dirt and biological contamination (mold, algae), non-saline, non-greasy, free from formwork oils, chemically stable, matured (pH ≤8.5; control can be performed with a pH tester).

Example of application procedure:

1. the basic penetrating coat is applied with the A-GRUND product in one layer and left to dry for 24 hours. Any stains from infiltrated water, rust, soot, aniline dyes, or nicotine are covered with the isolating paint I-GRUND or, for greater intensity, with the paint HETLINE IZOL.
2. after the base coat has dried, covering coats are applied with paint (according to the specific instructions for use)
3. protect all tools against drying during work breaks and wash them with water after use. Immediately wash soiled areas with water, as dried coating material is difficult to remove. Ensure thorough ventilation during application and drying in the interior.
