LAZUROL AQUA EKOHOST is a high-percentage polyurethane water-based floor lacquer with high resistance, hardness, and an attractive appearance, highlighting the grain of the wood. It is used for coatings on wood in interiors (furniture, parquet, cork flooring) and for coatings on absorbent materials (fiberboard, plywood). It contains UV filter. It is produced as a clear lacquer in satin and matte finishes. It meets slip resistance requirements.

The lacquer is designed to create a high-quality and durable surface for all types of hardwood and softwood floors in interiors. It can also be used for coating plywood, furniture parts, wooden paneling, cork, etc., or as a topcoat for dispersion paints. It meets the slip resistance requirements for dry and wet conditions (ČSN 744507) for floors in all residential and living spaces as well as for parts of buildings used by the public – the average value of the coefficient of friction must be at least 0.5.

Method of Application:

Procedure:
Before use, mix the lacquer thoroughly. The temperature during application must be between +15 °C and +25 °C. It is applied with a brush, roller, or spraying. The surface of the wood to be lacquered must be free of all dirt, dust, and old non-adhering paints. Resinous areas must be cleaned with solvent, and the surface must be carefully sanded using gradual sanding with sandpaper P80-100-120-150 (grit sizes adapted to the condition, type, and quality of the substrate). After removing the dirt from sanding, one layer of lacquer diluted with a maximum of 10% water is applied. After 2 hours of drying, the surface is lightly sanded with sandpaper P220-400. After removing the dirt from sanding again, two layers of undiluted lacquer are applied with a time interval of 2-8 hours. If the time interval between coatings exceeds 8 hours, a light sanding with sandpaper P220-400 is recommended.

Tinting:
Color shades are prepared in the TELURMIX system.

Yield:
8 - 12 m2/kg in one layer

You may find covering material, such as paper masking tape or covering foil, possibly sanding papers. Don't forget about brushes and rollers.
