LAZUROL OKNOBAL EMAIL U2015 is a top synthetic paint for windows and doors.

CHARACTERISTICS AND USE:

The paint is intended for glossy top coatings of wood, especially wooden windows, doors, wooden frames, various cladding, ceilings, furniture (including outdoor) etc. in interiors and exteriors. It features excellent mechanical properties, high opacity and UV resistance, excellent plasticity, very quick drying, and high gloss. The paint spreads well, does not form runs during application, and has excellent flow ability. The white shade is characterized by high whiteness.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:

Wood must be clean, dry, well-sanded, with a maximum moisture of 12%, and free from resin remnants before application. Wood with a high resin content (larch, pine) must be stripped of all resin exudations beforehand, e.g. by washing with nitro thinner C 6000. The quality of the wood pre-treatment affects the overall appearance of the final wood surface treatment and the overall durability of the coating system. The wood surface must first be soaked with a suitable primer that ensures even absorbency of the substrate and higher protection of the wood (in the case of using a fungicidal primer, also protection against mold, fungi, and insects). Subsequently, the wood surface must be sanded with fine sandpaper and then the primer should be applied. For renovation coatings, the wood must be stripped of old non-adhering coatings and ensure good substrate adhesion (when fully removing the old coating, the new coating is done gradually, including soaking the wood). It is recommended to follow the entire coating system as per the manufacturer's data sheet.

Theoretical coverage: 15 - 17 m²/l for one coat

WORK PROCEDURE:

Before use, thoroughly stir the contents and dilute as needed. The paint is applied to the pre-prepared substrate using a brush, roller, or spraying.

1. 1x coat with colorless LAZUROL CLASSIC S1023 or to achieve protection against wood-destroying fungi and molds, it is advisable to use LAZUROL IMPREGNATING PRIMER S1033 as a soaking primer. Wipe off excess primer with a cloth or dry brush after 10 to 15 minutes.
2. after 24 hours of drying, lightly sand with sandpaper.
3. 1x coat with PRAGOPRIMER PLUS S2070 or LAZUROL OKNOBAL PRIMER S2060, optimal film thickness of one coat 25 to 30 µm, drying time 6 hours.
4. sanding with sandpaper.
5. 1 to 2x coat with top email LAZUROL OKNOBAL EMAIL U2015, optimal thickness of one coat 35 µm. To create long-term effectiveness of the coating, it is advisable to apply the email in two thinner layers. A coating thickness of 35 µm can be recoated 10 hours after the first layer is applied at a temperature of 20 - 25 °C. If a greater thickness of the layer is achieved, the interval between coats must be extended.
