Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain is intended for protective staining coatings of soft and hard wood exposed to weather influences, as well as for interior coatings (garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall and ceiling cladding, fences, cabins, and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetrating wooden floors). The wood stain contains wax, natural oils, and transparent iron oxides. It deeply penetrates the structure of the wood and emphasizes its texture. It provides long-lasting wood protection against water and UV radiation. The coatings are colorfast, easily renewable, and do not crack. Shade T000 - natural is intended for indoor use only!!

Examples of use: garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall and ceiling cladding, fences, cabins and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetrating wooden floors.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:

Wood must be clean, dry, well-sanded, with a maximum moisture content of 12%, and free from resin residues before application. Wood with a high resin content (larch, pine) must be thoroughly cleaned of any resin exudations, for example, by washing with BALTECH C6000 nitro thinner. The quality of wood pre-treatment affects the overall appearance of the final wood finish and also the overall lifespan of the coating system.

For wood intended for outdoor use, it is essential to first treat it with a suitable fungicidal primer that provides protection against mold, fungi, and insects, e.g., with LAZUROL IMPREGNATING BASE S1033. The surface of wood intended for indoor use is recommended to be treated with a colorless stain LAZUROL CLASSIC S1023 or natural shade LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035. The penetration with a colorless primer ensures uniform absorption of the substrate by the wood before the application of the coating materials. Subsequently, the surface of the wood should be sanded with fine sandpaper before applying the soaking stain. In renovation coatings, the wood must be stripped of old non-adherent layers, for example, by sanding.

DILUTION: thinner BALTECH S6006 (especially for cleaning tools)

Theoretical coverage: 13-15 m²/l for one layer depending on the absorption of the substrate

WORKING PROCEDURE:

Apply with a brush after thorough mixing on a pre-prepared substrate. It is not necessary to dilute the stain, as it is already at the application viscosity. During work, it is necessary to regularly stir the staining varnish. For indoor use, apply in 1 to 2 layers, for outdoor coatings it is advisable to use three layers, but only in colored shades. The colorless stain is intended for interior applications. Individual coatings can be applied at intervals of 24 hours. To uniformly enhance the wood grain, it is advisable to wipe off any unabsorbed varnish with a dry brush or cloth after 10 to 15 minutes of application.

For continuous surfaces, always use material from the same production batch. Using the same production batch guarantees the same color shade. The type, surface, and previous coating of the wood affect the final shade of the coating, so it is recommended to perform a test application before the final application. Color shade complaints will only be accepted if related to the tested surface.

For a high gloss finish, the dried coating made with LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035 can be overcoated with LAZUROL UNIVERSAL VARNISH S1002 or natural shade of LAZUROL GOLD S1037 stain. Floors can be re-coated with LAZUROL OUTDOOR WALKABLE VARNISH S1020.

Warning: Absorbent materials (rags, sawdust, paper, dust, etc.) soaked with stain must be safely disposed of, as they may self-ignite under certain circumstances.

Tinting: Color shades can also be prepared in the TELURMIX tinting system.
