Hammerite Hammered Paint Directly on Rusty Metal, Brown, 0.7 l + 0.25 l

Hammerite Directly on Rust Hammered is a single-component air-drying anti-corrosive and decorative paint for iron metals (steel, iron, cast iron) for use in exterior and interior applications. The coating is specially developed for corroded metal, providing active protection against corrosion for up to 8 years. Thanks to the new DUALTECH technology, high water repellency of the coating is guaranteed. The coating is characterized by a short drying time and is easy to use. The coating is washable with water and detergents, resistant to bending and impact, and has good adhesion to the substrate.

It has high thermal resistance – continuous temperature exposure at 80 °C, regular exposure up to 150 °C, and long-term exposure to temperatures above 50 °C may cause color changes – fading. Excellent chemical resistance – fully cured, it withstands splashes of diluted acids or bases (of maximum concentration 10%), gasoline, diesel fuel, and all common construction materials, but coated surfaces should not be submerged in the aforementioned chemicals.

Instructions for use:
The surface must be dry, free of grease, dust, and dirt before painting. Remove flaking rust! Roughen well-preserved painted metal surfaces with sandpaper. Do not inhale dust. Then wash with water mixed with detergent, rinse thoroughly with clean water, and let dry. For corroded metal surfaces, remove poorly adhering residues of old coatings, clean the surface thoroughly with a wire brush or sand with coarse sandpaper or a hand grinder. Smooth metal surfaces must be roughened to increase adhesion. Apply a special primer for non-ferrous metals on unpainted zinc, aluminum, and galvanized surfaces. Galvanized surfaces can be treated with Hammerite product directly on non-ferrous metals without the need for a primer.  On previously painted surfaces, apply a test coat and let dry for 4 hours. In case of adverse reactions, remove the old coating.

Do not dilute, lightly mix, do not use mechanical stirring. Apply in two thick coats (100 microns). Do not excessively spread the paint. Apply the next coat after a minimum of 6 hours. Resistant to rain after 2 hours.

Before cleaning, remove as much paint as possible from the brush and roller. Clean the brush/roller with Hammerite thinner. The product is sensitive to air. The paint dries quickly upon contact with air and may form a skin in the can. Do not pour into drains and watercourses. Protect the can from frost and direct sunlight. Warning: Do not use empty containers for food storage. Store in a dry place, in the original sealed container at a temperature of +5 to +30 °C. Protect the can from frost and direct sunlight. The batch number and production date are indicated on the packaging. Consume within 60 months from the date of manufacture.
