DENAS LIQUID GLUE is a waterproofing coating material designed to protect roofing and cladding structures made of sprayed polyurethane foams. And for protective and renovation coatings for roofs with surfaces based on asphalt membranes. The applied material, after drying, will form an elastic film with perfect adhesion to the substrate, high resistance to the action of water, UV radiation, temperature fluctuations and alkaline hydrolysis. The coatings retain their highly elastic properties even at sub-zero temperatures, can transfer stresses caused by linear changes and cover small cracks in the substrate. It is therefore very suitable for renovation coatings of old pitched roofs.

Working procedure:

The substrate must be solid, dry, free of dirt and grease. Non-adherent surfaces must be sanded or mechanically removed. Old roofing materials must be freed from moss and lichens by blasting with a high-pressure cleaner with the addition of a degreaser and subsequent rinsing with water. Substrates made of asphalt membranes and other absorbent substrates should be impregnated with DENAS DEEP PENETRATION PRIMER. For maintenance coatings, the material should be applied to the substrate in a minimum of 2 layers with a time interval of 24 hours. For reconstruction and repair of structures made of asphalt membranes, it is recommended to use a system with a mesh fabric and increase the number of layers of the coating applied. The air and substrate temperature during the application and drying of the coating must not fall below +10 °C, with air humidity up to 70%. During the drying period, the coating should not be exposed to rain or running water.

maintenance coatings 2–3 m²/kg; coatings of polyurethane foams 1.0–1.5 m²/kg, for substrates of asphalt paper with reinforcement 0.5–1.0 m²/kg.

Safety and hygiene:

Follow personal hygiene principles. Ensure proper ventilation of the workspace. When spraying, use respiratory protection. If skin contact occurs, wash the affected area with water and soap. In case of eye contact, rinse with water. If ingested, rinse the mouth with water; do not induce vomiting. In case of health problems, seek medical attention.

Waste disposal:

Dispose of leftover paints and contaminated containers as hazardous waste in accordance with applicable regulations. The product retains its utility properties in the original unopened packaging at least until the date indicated on the lid.
