Lazurol Aqua Ekohost mat V1305 floor varnish, 2 kg

Lazurol Aqua Ekohost mat V1305 floor varnish is a highly percent polyurethane water-dilutable floor varnish with high resistance, hardness, and an attractive appearance, highlighting the grain of the wood. It is used for wood coatings in interiors (furniture, parquet, cork coverings) and for coatings on absorbent materials (fiberboards, plywood). It contains a UV filter. It is produced as a colorless varnish in semi-matt and matt finishes. It meets slip resistance conditions.

The varnish is designed to create a high-quality and durable surface on all types of wooden floors made of hard and soft wood in interiors. It can also be used for coating plywood, furniture parts, wooden claddings, cork, etc., or as a top coat on dispersion paints. It meets slip resistance requirements in both dry and wet conditions (ČSN 744507) for floors in all residential and living spaces and also for parts of buildings used by the public – the average value of the coefficient of friction of the whole set must be at least 0.5.

Work procedure:
Before use, the varnish should be thoroughly mixed. The temperature of the environment during application must be between +15 °C and +25 °C. It is applied with a brush, roller, or spraying. The surface of the wood to be varnished must be free of all dirt, dust, and old non-adherent coatings. Resinous areas must be washed with thinner and the surface carefully sanded with graduated sanding paper P80-100-120-150 (grit to be adjusted to the condition, type, and quality of the substrate). After removing dirt caused by sanding, one layer of varnish diluted with a maximum of 10% water is applied. After 2 hours of drying, the surface is lightly sanded with sanding paper P220-400. After again removing dirt caused by sanding, two layers of undiluted varnish are applied with a time interval of 2-8 hours. If the time interval between successive coatings is more than 8 hours, it is recommended to lightly sand with sanding paper P220-400.

Coloring:
Color shades are prepared in the TELURMIX system.

8 - 12 m²/kg in one layer

You may find covering material such as paper adhesive tape or covering foil, or perhaps sanding papers. Don't forget brushes and rollers.
